'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I.Kl.' (or: bar to the WWI IC 1st class) being a typical, maker- (ie. 'L/11'-) marked example as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilh. Deumer'
This is a very attractive - and most certainly issued- albeit hardly worn and actually not that easily encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Wiederholungsspange zum EK I. Klasse' (or bar to the WWI IC first class) being a typical maker- (ie. 'L/11'-) marked (ie. 'Buntmetall-versilbertes') example as was produced by the desirable maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'Wilhelm Deumer' as was based in the town of Lüdenscheid and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem issued- albeit hardly ie. never used- nor worn-), condition. The truly detailed piece retains almost all of its so-called 'high-polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten') and is very pronounced as to be expected: it naturally retains its functional (and totally unaltered) pin- ie. pin/catch-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' is as stated above only minimally stained ie. dirty: it retains a very nice age-patina and was I deem never cleaned nor polished. These attractive - by the 'Wilhelm Deumer'-company produced 'Wiederholungsspangen zum EK I. Klasse' are quite scarcely encountered and are not that often appearing on todays'-market. Simply a superb example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
