Pair of WH (Heeres) early-war-period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern and typical privately-purchased) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Wachtmeister eines (Sturm)Art.-Abts. o. Rgts.'
This is an attractive - just moderately used and/or fully matching! - pair of non-'standard-issued'- (ie. privately-purchased ie. 'tailor-made'-) pattern, WH (Heeres) early-war period- (ie. 'M40'-pattern and/or: rounded-styled) NCO-type shoulderstraps (ie. 'Schulterstücke für Unteroffiziere des Heeres') as was piped in the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by an: 'Wachtmeister o. Feldwebel eines (Sturm)Artillerie-Abteilungs o. Regiments' (or: sergeant who served within an artillery unit or regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. just moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The neat straps - which have the 'standard'-pattern, darker-green-coloured- and/or typical 'smooth woolen'-based 'upperdecks' and that measure approximately 11 cms. in length each - show the neat bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps - that show the typical silverish-toned NCO-braid and a pair of zinc-based pips period-attached denoting the NCOs-rank of a: 'Wachtmeister o. Feldwebel' - come mounted onto their period (and also entirely woolen-based) tongues and come both in an overall nice- and/or just moderately used condition (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an excellent occasion to acquire a neat NCO-type, '(Sturm)Artillerie'-related shoulderstrap-pair for an I deem justified price!
